DexShell Wading Pro Socks for Kayaking

Marshall Seddon, founder and lead instructor at The River Connection, has been using DexShell Wading Pro Socks during extended kayaking sessions and repeated water exposure.

Marshall’s recent footage shows the Wading Pro being used during normal kayaking activity, including launching, landing and repeated exposure to water.

During earlier field testing, Marshall wore the socks on an eight-hour kayaking trip, repeatedly moving in and out of the water – at times up to thigh depth. He reported that the socks remained comfortable and warm throughout the day and provided a significant improvement over other waterproof sock styles he had used previously.

Marshall’s experience is exactly the kind of real-world use Wading Pro was developed around: repeated water exposure, wet footwear, extended time outdoors and the need to remain comfortable while continuing to move.

A year later, the Wading Pro continues to be part of his paddling kit.

Wading Pro combines knee-high waterproof coverage with DexShell’s patented DEXLOK® cuff-seal construction, designed to help reduce water entering through the top opening during intermittent water exposure.
