A: DexShell beanie is fully waterproof, not just water-repellent. A Porelle waterproof and breathable membrane is laminated to the inner fleece liner, blocking snow and wind when you go outdoor in winter.
Q: Is it breathable, or does it make your head sweaty?
A: The Porelle membrane offers high breathability (approx. 15,000 g / m² / day). It allows sweat vapour to escape while keeping water out, so you stay dry inside and out, even during active use.
Q: How should I wash or care to keep it waterproof?
A: Hand wash with standard detergent and drip dry. Do not bleach or wring out. Keep away from radiators, fireplaces, or any direct heat sources to protect the waterproof membrane.
Q: Is it suitable for outdoor activities like hiking or cycling?
A: Absolutely. DexShell waterproof beanies are ideal for hiking, running, cycling, fishing, dog-walking, and commuting – anywhere you face unpredictable weather.
Q: What size is it, and will it fit under a hood or helmet?
A: Fits most adults (56-58 cm). Comfortable stretch for daily wear and under hoods, but not meant to fit under helmets.
